🟢 GEXBoard is coming to your broker — live GEX on Robinhood

We're building a browser extension that overlays GEXBoard's real-time gamma levels — Net GEX, dealer regime, Call Wall, Put Wall and Gamma Flip — directly on your Robinhood options screen, for the exact ticker and expiration you're viewing.

What makes it different:

  • Live, not static — your spot follows Robinhood in real time, and the levels recompute with the expiration you select. Just like our radar.
  • Right where you trade — no second screen. The walls, the flip and the dealer regime appear on the chain you're already looking at.
  • Your positions, in context — see how your open strikes sit against the Call/Put Wall and the Gamma Flip.
  • Respects your plan — same tickers and limits you already have (Starter / Pro / Trader).

Currently in private testing. We'll announce the moment it's installable — no date promises, just steady shipping. Want to be first in line? Reply to any of our emails and we'll add you to the early-access list.

📊 Spot in Wall Band — our first backtest-informed signal

A new sidebar card on /radar shows at a glance where spot sits between the Put Wall and the Call Wall. Visual gradient bar with a marker pinned to the live position, plus a one-line reading like "Spot at 32% of band — lower half."

Why this card and not another? Because the data picked it. We ran an internal LightGBM backtest over 5,992 historical wall touch events on SPX/SPY/QQQ from March to May 2026, feeding the model 37 candidate predictors of whether a wall holds or breaks within 30 minutes. Position-in-band came out as predictor #1 with 27% of the model's total predictive weight — more than the next two features combined and more than four times the importance of distance-to-the-wall alone.

What's in the card:

  • 📊 Live gradient bar — red zone near the put wall, green zone near the call wall, neutral mid-band. White diamond marker shows where spot is right now.
  • 📐 % of band — one number that replaces the mental math of "spot 6432 between 6400 and 6500." Auto-updates every refresh.
  • 📝 Positional reading — "near put wall" / "lower half" / "mid-band" / "upper half" / "near call wall". The interpretive layer in plain English.
  • 🌐 Works on every ticker — pure geometry between the existing walls. No ticker-specific historical data required, no separate backtest per name.
  • 🎯 Hover the panel title for the source — sample size, date range, and how this feature was derived empirically.

📍 Where to find it: in the right sidebar on /radar, between Level Strength and Market Regime. The card auto-updates with every refresh during RTH.

🔍 Why this matters: walls are context, not standalone signals. Our honest backtest AUC for "will this wall hold?" is 0.64 — significantly better than random (0.50) but far from a magic predictor. The most informative thing we found is where spot sits inside the band. Making that visible turns 2 mental steps into 0.

What's next: this is the first of several backtest-derived insights we'll layer in as our dataset grows. We're being deliberate about what we ship — only what the data clearly supports, framed honestly. More to come.

📬 You're our eyes on the product — an open invitation from the founder

Quick context. We're 30+ days into our partnership with an institutional-grade options data provider, the roadmap is accelerating, and the next 6 weeks have more shipping planned than any quarter we've had so far. Which is why this message is going to every paid subscriber, personally, with one ask and one deal.

Our ask: your eyes on the product. You are not just a subscriber. You're a Founder of this platform — early enough that what you flag now becomes part of what every future user inherits. We're a small team. We watch the product daily, but we can't see it through your specific workflow, your specific tickers, your specific use case. You can.

Here's what we'd genuinely love to hear:

  • A number that doesn't match your intuition or what another source shows
  • A workflow that takes 3 clicks when it should take 1
  • A ticker, metric, or view you wish existed
  • A methodology question that's been nagging you — we'll explain the math and link the source
  • A feature you'd pay extra for — helps us prioritize what to build next

Our deal in return:

  • We respond within 48 hours. No exceptions, no auto-replies, no ticket queue purgatory.
  • Every fix gets published on our changelog with your name attached (if you want it visible).
  • Every feature request that makes the roadmap, we tell you personally before public announcement.
  • Active reporters get early access to new features before they go live to everyone else.

Every report goes into our internal tracking. Your voice doesn't get lost in an inbox — it stays in the product.

📍 How to reach us: file a ticket at /support, or reply to any email from us — both routes get to the same person.

If something's been bothering you and you haven't said anything yet, this is the moment. We can't fix what we can't see. We can fix what you tell us about.

📣 Today's data hiccups — our apologies, normal service resumes Monday

Our upstream market data provider rolled out infrastructure changes today, and as those rolled through their stack a handful of their endpoints came back with intermittent gaps and momentarily stale values. That bled into a few corners of our session — most visibly on the Heatmap, Radar, and Greeks at points during the day.

We caught the issues as they happened, applied compensating fixes on our end (re-routed the spot feed to a licensed real-time source for the most-watched tickers, added watchdog crons that page us the moment similar provider degradations begin, hardened the cache invalidation path), and the system has stabilized.

Expect normal operation from Monday's open onward. If you spotted weird numbers on the dashboard between roughly 10 AM and 3 PM ET today, that was the cause — and it should now be behind us.

Sorry for the noise. Genuinely appreciate the patience while we ironed this out in the open. Good weekend, and good trading next week.

🌡️ Heatmap goes live — cells now update every 5 seconds

The Heatmap was a snapshot before. Open the page, see the matrix frozen at that instant — until you refreshed. Now it auto-refreshes every 5 seconds during market hours so you watch dealer positioning shift through the session without lifting a finger.

  • 🔄 5-second polling — cells move every 5-15s with real data. Gamma drift and intraday OI changes are reflected as the underlying chain refreshes in the background.
  • 🎬 Smooth transitions — 300ms CSS ease on cell color and value changes. Motion is fluid, not a jarring snap.
  • 🧠 Pauses when it should — stops polling when your tab is hidden (background tabs cost zero bandwidth) and outside regular trading hours (9:30 AM-4:00 PM ET, Mon-Fri). Comes back instantly when you regain the tab.
  • ✅ Same data shape — strikes, expiries, cell GEX values, the badges across the top (0DTE / Week / Month percent share). Nothing moved, the surface just no longer freezes.

📍 Where to see it: open /heatmap, pick any ticker, and let it sit. During market hours you'll see the matrix breathe.

🔍 Why it matters: a static heatmap forces you to refresh to know whether positioning shifted. A live one tells you the moment a call wall thins, the moment 0DTE concentration drops into the close, the moment a strike near the money intensifies as spot approaches. That's the difference between watching the structure and reacting to it.

Feature Starter · Pro · Trader

📧 Daily Watchlist Email — your 5 tickers, every morning before open

Every active paid subscriber now gets a free pre-market email Mon-Fri at 7:30 AM ET with the GEX state of 5 tickers they pick. Forms a daily routine — open before the market, see where dealers are positioned on your watchlist, decide your bias for the day in 30 seconds.

  • 📋 Pick 5 tickers from your plan's allowed set (Starter: 10 to choose from · Pro/Trader: 30 to choose from).
  • 🕘 Mon-Fri 7:30 AM ET — 2 hours before the market opens, skips US holidays.
  • 📊 Each ticker shows: spot price, Call Wall, Put Wall, Gamma Flip with distance, dealer regime (Long/Short Gamma), Net GEX, and a one-line interpretive read.
  • 🔄 Up to 2 picks changes every 30 days — anti-rotation rule to keep things meaningful. First setup doesn't count.
  • ⏸ Pause anytime via the unsubscribe link in any email. Your subscription stays active.
  • 💵 Cost: $0 — bundled into your plan, no addon.

📍 Where to set it up: open /account → look for the new 📧 DAILY WATCHLIST EMAIL card → click Pick my tickers → select up to 5 → save. First email arrives the next trading day at 7:30 AM ET.

🔍 Why this matters: the dashboard pulls you in only when you remember to check. The email pulls itself in every morning — frames your watchlist before you even open a chart. It's a routine, not a tool you have to remember.

This is separate from Snapshot Pro ($7 standalone offering for non-subscribers): Daily Watchlist is bundled FREE inside your existing paid plan, with tier-aware ticker access.

🧱 Wall Migration — see how the walls moved through the session

A new way to replay the trading session: Wall Migration captures the call wall, put wall, gamma flip, dealer regime, and net GEX at 6 anchored intraday moments and lays them out in a single clean timeline. See how positioning shifted between the open, mid-morning, lunch, mid-afternoon, power hour, and close — and which moves were the session-defining ones.

  • 🕘 6 anchored snapshots per session — Open (9:30 AM), 11:00 AM, Lunch (1:00 PM), 2:30 PM, Power Hour (3:30 PM), Close (4:00 PM) ET. Each anchor pulls the closest snapshot within a ±10 min window.
  • 📊 Full positioning per anchor — Spot, Call Wall, Put Wall, Gamma Flip, Net GEX, and Long/Short Gamma regime. Plus deltas between consecutive anchors so the eye tracks motion, not absolutes.
  • ⚡ Transition pills highlight Regime Flips (dealer mode crossed Long↔Short Gamma) and Wall Shifts (call or put wall migrated ≥0.3% of spot). The session-defining moments surface immediately.
  • 🔴 Live + auto-refresh during regular trading hours (60s polling). Locks to FINAL after 4:00 PM ET. Older sessions become ARCHIVED.
  • 🔗 Permalink share — copy the URL of a specific session and bucket. Paste in a DM or thread to share the day with anyone on Pro+.
  • 📅 Time picker — cycle back to yesterday or the day before from the modal header.
  • 🎯 DTE-aware — the modal respects whichever DTE tab you have open on /radar (0DTE, Weekly, Monthly, or 90 AGG).

📍 Where to find it: open any ticker on /radar. Look in the chart-controls bar — right after the 📋 TV button — for the new 🧱 WALL MIGRATION button. Click to open the timeline. The bucket follows your DTE tab automatically.

🔍 Why it matters: walls migrate during the day as dealers reposition. Knowing when a wall capitulated or when the regime flipped is often more useful than the static snapshot alone — that's the actionable structure you can carry into next session.

This is a new feature and your feedback shapes where it goes next. Hit /support or reply to any of our emails — we are 24/7 attentive and answer everything directly.

📊 Premium Map sidebar redesigned: Premium Concentration

The right-side panel on /premium-map has been redesigned. It now mirrors the chart's expiration filter and surfaces three insights for whichever expiration you have selected — change the dropdown above the chart and the sidebar follows automatically.

  • 📈 Top Call Concentration — top 3 strikes by call premium share within the selected expiration, with each strike's percentage of the entire chain's premium
  • 📉 Top Put Concentration — symmetric for puts
  • ⚖️ Bias Metrics — call/put ratio + above-spot vs below-spot premium split + directional label (BULLISH / NEUTRAL / BEARISH)

The sidebar reinforces the chart instead of competing with it. Hover any of the section titles for the full definition, formula, and interpretation guidance.

The previous sidebar showed an "Institutional Patterns (24h)" feed that required a real-time trade-by-trade data feed (out of scope for our current data plan). The new design uses live chain data we already pull, so it works on every plan that has Premium Map access.

⚖️ Three improvements on /radar — wall methodology, NET/GROSS toggle, OI view

Three structural changes shipped to /radar based on backtest validation:

  • 🧱 Walls match industry convention — Call Wall and Put Wall now show wherever the gamma cluster is, above OR below spot, no spot-side filter. New TESTED and BROKEN badges flag whether a wall break is real (validated by 47-day backtest, 20-min sustained threshold).
  • ⚖️ NET vs GROSS toggleNET sums call γ + put γ per strike (GEXBoard default — wins QQQ backtest 60-83% vs 28%). GROSS treats calls and puts independently (the industry convention — wins SPX/SPY put walls). The toggle lives in the chart toolbar at the top of the histogram. Pick the methodology that fits your view.
  • 🎯 New OI view (Pro+) — Open Interest by strike. Replaces gamma walls with OI-specific levels: OI CW (most call OI), OI PW (most put OI), and PIN (most TOTAL OI — gravitational pinning level).

Note on cross-page comparison: as of May 4 2026, both /radar (default mode) and /greeks use the NET methodology for wall labels. The /greeks chart still shows split bars (calls right, puts left) for visual call-vs-put balance, but the Call Wall and Put Wall labels match the same strikes you see on /radar. If you toggle /radar to GROSS, the labels will diverge — that's expected since /greeks stays on NET.

  • Toggle the VOL button in the chart controls when viewing 0DTE
  • Shows accumulated session volume + last-minute burst at each strike
  • Hotspots panel ranks strikes by today's traded volume

Layout

✨ New /radar Layout — single-look principle

Based on poll responses from active subscribers, the dashboard was redesigned around minimizing clicks and maximizing what's visible at once.

  • Six summary cards at the top — Net GEX, Calls/Puts, Flip Proximity, Market Regime, Gamma Pressure, Gamma Alignment
  • Sidebar always expanded — Level Strength and Top 5 Gamma Strikes stay visible without clicking
  • Tooltips with academic citations — hover any dotted label for the peer-reviewed research behind the metric
  • Real-time card updates — cards move with spot price, not every 8 seconds
